UPDATE: They counter-offered disgustingly close to the list price, but after looking at a number of other houses, this neighborhood just felt right, and the house is bright with lots of possibilities. We’ve agreed to their price, so we should be under contract in the next few days. I never thought I’d spend this much on a house in my life!
We just made an offer on a house near Towson in Baltimore. It’s quite a bit off the asking price, but the house has been listed since July and is overpriced. Cross your fingers!
